Student Testimonial

Due to the current situation, it was not possible to visit a foreign country to improve my French.  So, I was thinking about an online course.  I was happy as EC Montreal sent me an offer for that.  In the past, I made two times very good experiences at EC in Montreal.  So, it was no question for me to use that possibility to improve my French.  I am really satisfied.  The classes were very small, the interaction between the teacher and the students were very good even though we were not together in a classroom.  The teacher adjusted the lessons very well to the current situation.  I also took private lessons.  The teacher always responded to my personal needs.  As long as possible, I will continue with the online courses.
I loved…the small groups.
I enjoyed Sharzad’s humor and Sharzad and Djamel’s patience.
I learned…a lot, more than I’ve expected; vocabulary, grammar, culture.
I will continue to… to improve my French.
I will always remember…EC Montréal, on-site (2011 and 2014) and online (2020)
I promise to…improve my French and come back to EC Montréal, sometime, somehow!

EC Montreal has found a way for us to stay connected and still remain physically distant on EC Virtual.  Through our Online English Courses or our Online French Courses, you can make new friendships and form new bonds.

Teacher Testimonial

My name is Melissa and I’m excited to join the EC Montreal’s teaching team. I’m originally from Toronto, Canada, and have lived and worked both in Toronto and Hong Kong, teaching English. I strive to create a positive, peaceful, and warm environment in my classroom, so that students feel free to learn.

One of my favourite things about working in a place like EC Montreal is the variety of people that I get to meet as a teacher, and I love getting to hear people’s stories and see how learning to communicate plays a role in their lives! In my free time, I like to watch movies and read – I especially enjoy scouring used book stores for good finds! I also love music – I play guitar and piano, and sing, and I absolutely love going to see live music.

I’m looking forward to meeting lots of students and helping them share their stories, gifts, and experiences with the world.
