EC San Diego is located in the beautiful area of La Jolla, well-known for its up-market shopping and incredible coastline, where seals can be spotted next to surfers and sunbathers! The school is bright and airy with ocean views, an outdoor terrace and a truly relaxed Californian atmosphere.

Student Testimonial
I really liked it here because the mood was very good. There was also a lot to do and the staff was friendly. The best part about learning English here at EC San Diego was the friends I made and the fact that you can improve your English skills and have fun at the same time.
Here in San Diego there is a lot to do like go to clubs, house parties, but the most exciting thing I did was take a trip to San Francisco with my friends. The city is beautiful but cold. There is also the paintball activity that I participated in. Teachers Jerrod and Cosmo were our paintball captains and it was awesome!
I would suggest to new students not to be afraid to do some activities with the teachers. After EC I am going back to Switzerland where I am going to work in a marketing company as a manager. Thank you EC.

Teacher Testimonial
I’m from the San Diego area, went to college in the LA area and got a degree in Sociology. My family is from Mexico City and from the US, so I speak Spanish and English. I’ve travelled to 7 countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. I like to read, play volleyball, and play guitar.
I’ve been in the education field for 4 years and in ESL for 2. My classes are a safe space to learn and laugh and meet new friends along the way.
Learning tips: Pace yourself when you’re learning English. Try to keep a balanced lifestyle. These might help to keep you on track and from getting discouraged by your progress-everyone learns English at a different pace. Be patient with yourself, but don’t neglect English. Go to the free opportunities offered by EC and talk to Americans.
