How does it work?
1. During class (120 minutes)
Small groups of students with a common goal to improve their score on the test, collaborate to meet these objectives with the teacher. They identify personal learning objectives and goals, discuss the questions and task(s), review any questions. At the end of the lesson, a follow-up homework task is assigned.
2. After class: Assigned Task (Practice, Production and Reflection)
Students will be assigned a homework task for extra practice. The assigned homework will help develop their familiarity with the exam format and give the student extra practice and confidence. Students will be asked to reflect on the achievement of the task and to set personal goals.
Note: Reflection on learning and personal goal setting create a more personalised and intensive learning experience in an online setting.
