Description of Local Area
Generally located outside the city centre, Homestay can offer you a number of options, including single or shared rooms, half or full board, ensuite or shared bathroom, and providers who will cater for specific dietary requests, etc.
Description of Accommodation
An integral part of students studying abroad is immersion in the local culture, and one of the best ways to do this is by staying in our Homestay accommodation.
All our Homestay providers are either Irish or native English speakers, which will benefit you as you will be able to practise your English outside of the classroom. Our Homestay providers have all been inspected and Garda-vetted. We also know them, and we believe they will provide you with a typical Irish experience to help you feel right at home from the start.
Homestay in Dublin may consist of an adult couple with or without children, or a single adult. It is the ‘family atmosphere’ that is the most important factor. There may also be up to three other students in the Homestay but they will speak a different native language than yours, unless specifically requested otherwise.
