Miscellaneous

  • Twice a month staff will clean common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Washing detergents are self-bought.
  • There are one washing machine and one dryer per apartment, and they can be used at free of charge. However, student needs to buy washing liquid
  • Utility bills are included.
  • Communal fully-equipped kitchen with hardwood floors. Kitchen utensils (spoons, forks, knives, pots, pans, plates, bowls) are provided
  • Tandem Garage parking is available for a fee
  • Each room has a digital lock as well as for the main entrance door.
  • Students must wait at a nearby café whilst waiting for check in time.

Description of Local Area

The property has an Excellent location near many supermarket, cafes, gyms and ATMS. Nearby many cities like Century City, Santa Monica, Brentwood and Beverly Hills.

Description of Accommodation

Fully furnished to include: Two (2) bedrooms with two beds, two study desks, chairs, lamp, pillow, sheets, towels, a minifridge, and TV and (4) single bedrooms with one bed, desk, study chair, lamp, pillow, sheets, towels, a minifridge, and TV.
The kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, fullsized refrigerator, microwave, plates, cups, utensils, cooking equipment (pots, pans, etc.), and cleaning equipment (broom, dustpan). There is no smoking allowed in the apartments.

Arrival and departure

  • Arrival day: Saturday (Sunday arrival is allowed)
    Check-in: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
    Early Check-in may be allowed if requested.
    Late Check-in may be allowed if requested.

    Check-out: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
    Late Check-out is not allowed

Journey to school

The journey to school should take approximately 35 minutes by bus ( no,1,2 and 4)

Cancellations

Cancellation prior to arrival

Students cancelling or postponing 14 days or less prior to their accommodation dates will be charged a two-week accommodation fee at the rate quoted in the price list for the accommodation booked and the accommodation placement fee.

Cancellation after arrival

Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior to termination. If the 4-week notice period is not provided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply.  After deducting the price of accommodation used at the rate quoted in the price list, including the required notice period charged at the same rate, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs.  

Airport Pickup

EC transportation representative will be holding an EC Los Angeles sign located right after you pick up your luggage(s).

Other ways to get to your residence

If Airport Pick-up is not requested student will need to take an Uber/Lyft or Taxi to the residence.

 

Arrival Procedures

The week of arrival, students will receive an email from a Westwood staff member explaining the self-check-in process.

House Rules

  • Students must be 18+ to choose this accommodation
  • Apartments are mixed gender. Male and female students share common areas and facilities, but bedrooms are single gender
  • No deposit needed
  • Guests are not allowed
  • Smoking is not permitted
  • While we promote and support diversity, we cannot guarantee language mix. However, we always encourage students to use English to communicate, be respectful and inclusive of others
  • EC provides a clean living space for all students and expects a basic level of respect from all students. For example, if something is dropped, pick it up; do not leave clothes and belongings on the floor; place rubbish and leftovers in a garbage bag
