- Cleaning service is provided in the common areas daily. Rooms are cleaned weekly and linen is changed on a weekly basis.

Description of Local Area
99 Residence has a central location in New York City that you cannot beat. Within 20 minutes you can find world-famous New York attractions, like One World Observatory, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, and many more. Short walk to Central Park, Lincoln Center, and major New York City colleges and universities.
Description of Accommodation
All rooms come with a 32’’ flat-screen television, mini-fridge, air conditioning, a desk, and a chair. Communal kitchens available
Single Room/ Communal Bathroom: Double bed with a communal kitchen and about 3 communal bathrooms on each floor. Each bathroom is for private use only but is shared between 3 – 4 tenants and is cleaned hourly.
Single Room (Economy): Single Queen bed with a private bathroom. Limited closet space.
Single Room: Double bed with a more spacious room, usually used for long-term stays. More closet space.

Arrival and departure
Arrival day: Saturday (Sunday arrival is possible if notified in advanced).
Check-in: 16:00
Early Check-in is allowed if the room is ready. The student will go to the 24-hour front desk to check in, giving the staff their name. The front desk will give the student their key for their room.Departure day: Saturday
Check-out: 11:00 AM. Late check-out is not allowed. Luggage can be dropped off at the front desk at any time and coordinate with the front desk to collect.
Journey to school
- Student will exit the building, turn right and go to Broadway, then turn right again towards W. 98th Street.
- Student will continue to W. 96th Street, where they can enter the subway in the median.
- Student will take the Downtown #2 or #3 express subway (Towards “New Lots Ave.”) for 2 stops to the Times Square/42nd Street station.
- Student will exit via 7th Ave/42nd Street NW corner exit and head north on 7th Ave. towards W. 43rd Street.
- Student will turn left on W. 43rd Street. EC New York is located at 1501 Broadway (entrance on 43rd Street), 11th Floor, New York, NY 10036.
Cancellations
Cancellation prior to arrival
Students cancelling or postponing 14 days or less prior to their accommodation dates will be charged a two-week accommodation fee at the rate quoted in the price list for the accommodation booked and the accommodation placement fee.
Cancellation after arrival
Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior to termination. If the 4-week notice period is not provided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply. After deducting the price of accommodation used at the rate quoted in the price list, including the required notice period charged at the same rate, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs.
Airport Pickup
If you booked an airport transfer, after immigration, please follow these instructions: Collect your luggage. Pass through Customs. Go to the airport terminal exit. Your driver will be waiting outside (look for a sign with your name on it) NOTE: International transfers will arrive one hour after the flight lands and domestic arrivals will arrive 30 minutes after the flight lands to allow for the student to pass through Customs and successfully retrieve their luggage. If you do not see a driver with a sign with your name on it, please call the EC Emergency phone line: +1-631-612-4494.
Other ways to get to your residence
Student can take an Uber/Lyft/taxi to get to the residence.

House Rules
- Students must be 18+ to choose this residence.
- Share common areas and facilities. Bedrooms are single gender.
- Guests are allowed.
- No smoking. No Partying.
- While we promote and support diversity, we cannot guarantee language mix. However, we always encourage students to use English to communicate, be respectful and inclusive of others.
- EC provides a clean living space for all students and expects a basic level of respect from all students. For example, if something is dropped, pick it up; do not leave clothes and belongings on the floor; place rubbish and leftovers in a garbage bag
