Application Requirements

  • A minimum 17 years old
  • BC Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (usually graduation from secondary school in most countries)

What do I need to apply?

Please ensure that you have the following when submitting your application to TRU University:

  • A completed International Application Form
  • A non-refundable application fee of CDN$100 must accompany your application.
  • Copies of all secondary and post-secondary transcripts and certificates (in original language, as well as English or translated into English). Please click this link for a listing of Required International Documents (pdf) 
  • Copy of TOEFL or IELTS examination results or other recognized international test of English (if available)

What happens next?
Estimated processing times:Application will usually be processed within two working days.

Once you receive your Letter of Acceptance:

  • Confirm your acceptance with the International Office as outlined in the Letter of Acceptance
  • Contact your local Canadian Immigration office and apply for your study permit
  • Include your letter of acceptance with your study permit application
